0 ASICS has most recently released its Dynablast 5 in Singapore. It looks radically different from the older Dynablast series with its much higher stack and FF Blast+ midsole technology. On the first glance, it looks very familiar and draw memories from just a few years ago. What could it be?
Let us dig up the memories from our past and find where it might have came from. ASICS, high stack, FF Blast+, trampoline outsole….. there we go. The Novablast 3, the midsole, and also the outsole, are practically the same.
This is not necessarily a negative thing. The Novablast 3 has received many positive reviews and love from the running community. ASICS’s decision to bring back the familiarity of the Novablast 3 might be the remedy that the Dynblast needed. The Dynablast 4 saw a new design which diverted the limited shared language that the series has with Novablast. The question now is whether this will bring attention and demand for the Dynablast series?
