Nike has just released the Winflo 11 here in the Singapore market with an updated design as well as specifications for the product. This year seems to be the year where brands give attention to their entry level running shoes for a refresh. A highly welcomed move for the Winflo which now clearly distinct itself from the Rival Fly 3.

Product Specification & Updates

Nike has made key changes to the Winflo such as widening both the heel and forefoot width for improved stability. As well as enhancing overall comfort with softer lining and softening the tongue. Nike maintains the use of its midsole as well as a full-length Nike Air to provide the pop and comfort. Aside from that, the description almost similar between Winflo 11 and Winflo 10 for their product description.

Other changes includes the taking a new design cue aligned to the Pegasus, Structure, and Vomero series as well as the outsole pattern. Nike equipped the Winflo 11 with the Cushlon midsole. We are curious to find out if the Cushlon 3.0 is used here like in Structure or Vomero.

Concluding Remarks

Overall, the update to the Winflo 11 sets it apart in Nike’s product lineup. At th same time it takes design cues from the more premium products. The price of Winflo 11 maintains at SGD 165 a welcomed move given the upwards trend recently.

With the update to the Winflo 11, we are interested to review it. As more of the running products move above the SGD 200, this creates a clearer distinction for products like the Winflo 11. Aside from the Winflo 11, other choices include Adidas SL/Supernova Rise, ASICS Dynablast 4/Gel Pulse 15, and New Balance Propel v4.
